Kelli Wilks

Founder and Practice Director

With a career spanning 20 years and two continents, across private and public sector and now private consultancy running substantial programs in commercial negotiation, divestments or  transformation for large multinationals such as Travelport (formerly Galileo), CSC, Heathrow Airport (formerly BAA), Hitachi Data Systems, British Gas and others, Kelli is a senior leader, international negotiator and coach.  Drawing on her many years living and working in the US and UK, and on-the-ground negotiations and program management in Canada, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Poland, Spain, Singapore, and Australia, Kelli brings uncommon experience in both traditional business change and psychoanalytical dispute resolution and legal mediation.  

Monica Hanaway

Mediator and Lecturer - London and Oxfordshire

With over 15 years' experience, Monica Hanaway is a highly-respected and accredited mediator, leadership and business coach, psychotherapist, and author. She is a senior trainer in alternative dispute resolution at Regents University, London, and has worked in the UK, Singapore, South Africa, Latvia and the Channel Islands.  Her mix of repeat mediation cases include corporate clients, urban gangs, and families, thus reflecting her deep skill and ability to transcend stereotypes in resolving conflict. Through her work with the Desmond Tutu Foundation, Monica has worked to resolve conflict and facilitate conflict resolution training in Northern Ireland and in Cape Town, South Africa. This work has focused on political conflict and gender based violence.

Macarena Mata, PhD MSc 

Mediator and Lecturer - Hertfordshire and London 

Macarena has been working professionally in the field of conflict resolution for the past 13 years. She is an accredited mediator (family, workplace and community) and a respected trainer, lecturer and speaker, engaging with executives, academics, teams and community groups, as well as young people in school and youth groups, all centred on mediation, conflict resolution and self-awareness training.


Macarena also works as a conflict coach helping people understand how to change their relationship to conflict and prepare for mediation processes. Macarena is a trained assessor in accredited mediation programmes and supervisor to other mediators. She has lectured on conflict theory and self-awareness and reflective practice at the PgCert and MSc courses at Birkbeck College and supervised LLM students at the University of Hertfordshire.


Macarena has been a member of the Board of Trustees with Mediation Hertfordshire for four years, is accredited with the Family Mediation Council and is a member of the College of Mediators, Association for Conflict Resolution and Mediators Beyond Borders, where she is a facilitator within the International Training Institute for women and co-leads the Colombia project in South America. Macarena was born in Málaga, Spain, and has lived in London for the last 20 years with her husband.
